The Resilience+ Innovation Facility at UC Davis is leveraging a decade of field evidence generate Resilience+ and accelerate efforts to sustainably strengthen food security and spur inclusive agricultural transformation. Established in December 2021 with a five-year grant from the Gates Foundation, we design and implement targeted, large-scale projects that will spark Resilience+.
The Resilience+ Innovation Facility is takes a market-focused approach to implement targeted projects that have the potential to generate Resilience+. The facility’s partner, BFA Global leads partnerships with in-country private sector partners and building the business case for our projects to be implemented on a large scale in a way that will be self-sustaining. In the process, we are also addressing key gaps in evidence about this approach to promoting inclusive agricultural transformation.
